My favourite type of photo to take is action photos. They are always the most fun and sometimes the most challenging. You are able to capture crazy moments in one shot. I want to learn cool ways to create actions photos with different shutter speeds. I would also like to learn how to create different lighting and focal points in action shots.
When I went out to take this photo their was only misting rain falling down. However, on plants the water was forming into droplets. I looked around and found this plant which I liked because it was somewhat repetitive with the leaves. I took a lot of photos and really liked the angle I got with this shot. I wish I could have got one with droplets falling but given the circumstances I am happy with my result.
This assignment turned out well for me and was a lot of fun to do! On the weekend it was dark and rainy so it was harder to get a picture of a bright fall day. However, we got to take pictures in class on a sunny day outside which turned out great.
This project was challenging because there was a fine line between my subject moving too fast or too slow. I first tried by taking photos of my sister but it didn't work because we weren't moving fast enough. I found more success in photographing my dog who was moving a bit faster.
