For this project I took my photos at my cabin in whistler rather than at my house. Whistler is my second home and I was able to take some pretty pictures there.
I took this photo from birds eye view looking down from the peak to peak gondola. I like this one because it makes you look twice to figure out exactly what is going on.
My brother let me borrow his camera to take this photo. I used at 30 second shitter speed so everything is very detailed and you can even see a few stars in the sky.
When I think of Whistler, I think of cold weather. I tried to capture that feeling in this photo by the use of the icicles and the snow on all of the trees.
I really liked this one because of the reflection of the trees on the pool. It's very surreal having a pool right next to a mountain. It's not something you associate with a pool which makes it more interesting.
Where you live is not just about the scenery, but also the people around you. For me, it's family and little kids running around everywhere. During this time I was babysitting my two nieces and two nephews who were being very hyper. I feel others can connect with this photo because it symbolizes the care free and fun loving attitude of kids.
this was on the drive down from Whistler. There are places along the highway that are very beatiful, but also places like this with slush on the road that makes it look a lot more sad. Whenever I leave Whistler I am never happy and I feel this photo symbolizes what I see when driving back to North Vancouver.
I love this one because of the sky. It looks very calm and beautiful. I feel it really highlights Whistlers amazing landscape.
